As room mom for Smunch's class, I wanted to make something fun and festive, but fairly healthy, as a snack for their Halloween party later this week. I made these last week as a practice run. These were so easy and so cute. Who can resist a herd of creepy cheese and chow mein noodle bugs?

Absolutely adorable! I will have to share your idea with my sister in law, who teaches kindergarten and always has parents upset if she gives them any kind of snack with sugar in it.

Okay, you are officially SuperMom. I was pretty sure of it after I saw the soccer cake and castle cake...but devoting yourself to Cub Scouts and making these adorable treats for the class makes it official!

They actually travel quite nicely, although I've never taken them very far...
